I’ve been a dancer most my life: ballet, modern, and of course, flamenco. I’ve choreographed and had my own dance companies in all three disciplines. Also I was dance director and member of the Board of Directors for the Intersection Art Center in San Francisco (read interview.)

Besides writing poetry, short stories, and a memoir, I was an executive member of the Board of Directors of the Marin Poetry Center in the Bay Area, and a bilingual (Spanish-English) teacher for California Poets in the Schools.

As a poet, I studied with award-winning writers Rosalie Moore, Thomas Centolella, John Hart, Lawrence Hart, and Diane O’Herir.

See the Poetry page for a list of publishing credits and the Stories page for my short stories that have been published or will be forthcoming in ’08.
